nutella is one of the greatest things to exist on the face of the universe. do not argue with me about this. I know this is random but I did it cuz I am currently spooning from the jar ^^ this is one of my greatest vices and I'm letting you in on that.
spent most of last week with army boy Wx. Mustafa to get my fairy lights, Marche to feast, drinking by the quay, 2* steamboat and late night chatting sessions. he survived the first week wow what an accomplishment hahaha ^^
met up with Sunny on Thursday and had Burger Shack, he watched as I ate. Portobello mushroom, not bad but I would have preferred if the mushroom was grilled instead of breaded and deep-fried. (Mich would so crinch @ the huge fungi within the well-toasted burger buns) tehtarik ice cream (absolute love!) and strawberry sorbet at Island thereafter. h2ht about love and friendships, months of catching up condensed in a 4h long session. then on Friday, we were supposed to go to Spruce but it was fully booked :( lesson learnt, book way in advance and not half an hour before. settled for Oomphatico’s, I knew that Yang would love the ambience. I had fennel soup and smoked salmon with toast and dill whereas she had seafood chowder and a mezza platter. the soup was so filling you have no idea.. thick and rich, filled us up even before we started on the entree. thanks for lunch dear :) talked about education, boys and family. chats with her are always edifying. I see much clearer now. no more Econs, I plan to major in Business management/administration. Warwick/Birmingham/UCL/Manchester. Warwick sounds really good.. plus it’s a beautiful campus in Coventry, UK.
she could tell that my DISC profile (Psychometric test) was high S and C yeah I can’t help being a perfectionist.. doesn’t hurt though. with the high expecations that she has of me.. makes me afraid but at the same time, spurred on. she advised, be a big fish in a small pond. I’m even more determined to reach my GPA dream for the remaining 3 semesters of school. I’m soo happy for Yang, her life’s set. a scholar, an LSE undergrad, Oxford graduate, happily engaged to a brilliant man and enjoying her job, all by the age of 25. 18 Sept 2010 I’ve marked my calendars :) I’m sure she’ll be a gorgeous bride. ... on the penultimate week of my hols, I finally started on my driving lessons. the first lesson was so exciting, am very fortunate to land myself a patient and nice instructor. when he told me to drive out on to the mainroad, I was like srsly?!? I thought he was kidding.. he commented I should slow down tho.. thought I was going rather slowly at 50km/h+ but I am prolly too accustomed to Dad's speed of driving heehee. if all goes well, I should be able to drive by the end of the year!
the HK trip is confirmed, both our parents agreed!!!~~~ I'm so thrilled!!! dimsum, milk tea, mango pomelo, H&M, shopping in the most happening districts, the cold weather and lots of picture opportunities we'll go crazy! talk about kodak moments.. I plan to get a film camera. diana/holga/polaroid/fisheye, any suggestions?
have been busy on the school front as well. weekly visits to school for Ba Shine'09 camp meetings, taking part in competitions and the like but not that I'm complaining.. it makes my holidays much more fulfilling! :)

current(and longest) obsession of late, hair accessories. that's my new ribbon hairband in the pic btw. I thought I was over the ribbon phase but I was wrong... another one won't hurt right? bangles was my previous craze so what's next, chunky rings? necklaces?
